Heather prides herself on writing copy that works!

A freelance writer and editor, Heather has built a diverse client list which includes advertising agencies, government agencies, non-profits, small and mid-sized businesses, nonfiction authors, municipalities, educational institutions, membership organizations, and political campaigns.

Known for a journalistic writing style that is sharp and clear, she has been called a “word economist” by her clients.

In addition to her freelance writing assignments, Heather works as an editor and copywriter with Publish Your Purpose Press, which specializes in works of nonfiction. In this role she conducts developmental edits and writes copy for author book jackets, websites, and sales pages.

A published writer in her own right, Heather’s feature articles and opinion pieces have appeared in Connecticut Magazine, The Courant, and The Connecticut Post.

She is currently working on a book for women entrepreneurs.

Heather received her MBA from the University of New Haven and her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Southern Connecticut State University.

Committed to her own professional development, she completed coursework in NYU’s Magazine Publishing program and regularly takes classes at Gotham Writers Workshop.
