Heather writes copy that works!

As a freelancer, Heather writes and edits across multiple industries for a diverse set of clients: advertising agencies, government agencies, non-profits, small and mid-sized businesses, nonfiction authors, municipalities, educational institutions, membership organizations, and political campaigns.

Known for a journalistic writing style that is sharp and clear, she has been called a “word economist” by her clients.

In addition to her freelance writing assignments, Heather is an editor and copywriter with Publish Your Purpose Press, which specializes in works of nonfiction. A published writer in her own right, Heather’s feature articles and opinion pieces have appeared in Connecticut Magazine, The Courant, and The Connecticut Post.

She is currently working on a book for the woman business owner who works with clients.

Heather received her MBA from the University of New Haven and her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Southern Connecticut State University.

Committed to her own professional development, she completed coursework in NYU’s Magazine Publishing program and regularly takes classes at Gotham Writers Workshop.
