Over the past 15 years Heather has honed her skills by writing and editing for advertising agencies, state agencies, non-profits, small and midsized businesses, municipalities, educational institutions, membership organizations, and political campaigns.

In addition to her freelance writing and editing assignments, she serves as the Editorial Director for Publish Your Purpose Press, which specializes in works of nonfiction. In this role she conducts developmental edits, oversees the proofreading process, and writes copy for author book jackets, websites, and sales pages. She also works with authors on a freelance basis.

A published writer, Heather’s articles and personal essays have appeared in Connecticut Magazine, The Courant, and The Connecticut Post.

She is currently working on a book for women entrepreneurs.

Heather received her MBA from the University of New Haven and her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Southern Connecticut State University.

Committed to her own professional development, she completed coursework in NYU’s Magazine Publishing program and regularly takes classes at Gotham Writers Workshop.
